Albuquerque – GO

Getting to Albuquerque is easy from most major cities thanks to Albuquerque International Sunport, a pleasant smaller airport conveniently located in the city.

Renting a car will maximize your flexibility to visit all the sites we describe, but there are some more eco-friendly options to consider. So even if you rent a car, consider parking it and cycling, or riding the bus or light rail for in-city excursions.

ABQ Ride is Albuquerque’s city transit system with buses and soon a new light rail line will connect center city attractions.

Rio Metro provides a regional transportation network including buses, a commuter rail line and shuttles.

Rail Runner This 100 heavy rail train line follows the Rio Grande Valley for 100 miles. Great for an eco-friendly, stress-free and scenic ride north to Santa Fe, or south to Belen.

Pace Bike Share program launches April 2018 and will grow to 50 stations across the city.
