As a major tourist and convention destination, Savannah offers a full range of accommodations from chain hotels, to B&Bs in historic mansions, to luxury boutique hotels. On our stay, we used AirBNB to secure a cute house in a close-in neighborhood.

Tip: pay a little extra to stay close to the inner historic zone where you can easily walk around, avoid travel hassles and maximize your touring time! Overall prices are reasonable, but vary based on seasons and conventions; plan wisely, and Savannah can be an inexpensive place to visit. Consider staying overnight in nearby Tybee for a fun seaside retreat; accommodations are primarily small local motels, VRBO/Airbnb, and condo rentals.
