Aspen – SLEEP

It can get a little tricky to keep to a budget with this one. We are talking a world class destination mountain towns, after all. However, using Hotels.com, we found a great deal on a spacious condo at the base of a ski run in Snowmass  at the Interlude Condominiums with a full kitchen and grill so we could cook and save money on eating out. Staying in Snowmass Village can provide lodging cost savings over Aspen; with frequent free bus service, it makes Aspen accessible and affordable. Consider other down valley towns, too, if visiting at peak travel times.

In Aspen, we visited the Limelight hotel and took a peek at some of their beautiful rooms. They have a Colorado Resident deal for $145/night (subject to change and pending availability at certain times of the year). This excellent deal includes a generous breakfast buffet that will fortify you for the day. (Note: non-guests are also welcome to enjoy the buffet for a reasonable price!) Each day they offer guests an adventure concierge services offering free activities like fly-fishing lessons and stand up paddleboating in the summer (winter activities vary). Guests may also check out a cruiser bike for the day, free!
