St. Louis – Travel Tip for Kids

While we were in St. Louis, we came across a charming book aimed at children, to helpst-louis-goodnight-st-louis-book them learn more about the city. We just loved it. It’s called Goodnight St. Louis, by June Herman and Julie Dubray with great illustrations by Karen Heyse. It’s a takeoff on the very familiar and very popular, Goodnight Moon books.

Being able to read up on a destination is a great way to get a child excited about the trip. Let your child or grandchild use the book to help decide on the itinerary. Then, when they go there, they can use the book almost like a travel guide, to help them spot the destinations in real life that they’ve been reading about in the book.
